Cool how can i ???

how do u separate the pistons from the con rods??
can u just knock the pins though, or do u ave to
use a special tool?????
any help would be most gratfull thanks

some pistons have a circlip holding the gudgeon pin in place and others are an interferance fit where you have to warm the piston in hot water so the pin just slides out, and not 100% certain about this but i think some the con rod needs heating to remove the gudgeon pin. but as i say not 100% sure as i haven't rebuilt many engines in a while

u need to have it done by an engine shop, and it usually meand ruining the piston.

If the machine shop are any good they can be fitted removed easy with no damage, 99% of the time.
