Default Type 9 box - replacing gaskets

hi

I'm replacing the gaskets on my type 9 box (fitted to a Midget), and am having trouble figuring out how to remove the ally spacer fitted between the main & tail housing.

There is a gasket between the spacer and main housing that needs to be replaced. I don't want to just keep taking the thing apart as chances are that I'll never get it back together again!

Can any one help, or has done the same thing?

Thanks
Matt

there are steel shim gaskets to go either side of the fifth gear spacer, so yes, strip it fully.
