hi i'm putting an st engine in my focus and was wondering what you may have heard about the max rpm for the standard bottom end, i've seen people doing 8000 with just rod bolts and i have seen 8500 on standard bottom ends, so my question is what have you guys heard of and seen?

 

7500 is about max for the std oil pump.
