Ihave a mint gti with 57i induction kit,power boost valve,full magnex pipe with de-cat and superchips re-map.
the last thing i did was fit the exhaust,since then the car only seems to pull hard from low revs whilst on choke(still cold).when warm there seems to be no torque till it hits 3000 revs,but now revs higher til 6000+.is this because the ecu was set for standard de-cat exhaust.
if this is the case i want to fit a 4into1 manifold /camshafts before re-map, can anybody help me find a good manifold or suggest what to do.
i looked at bigger power with throttle bodies but was too expensive.
any help from more experienced tuners than myself would be great

 

You could go for the 130bhp cams and throttle body and get it remapped again. I wouldn't advise hammering it from cold though.

 

try replacing the coolant temprature sensor, the 1 for the ecu not the temp gauge there cheap, and when they fail give similar problems to what your describing
