Default Mk4 zetec conversion

Hi my first post on passionford. I'm currently trying to source all the parts I need to convert my mark 4 escort xr3i to zetec power.

From a K reg xr3i 130bhp zetec, I have just collected the engine, gearbox, engine loom, ecu and air flow sensor etc.

I'm fine with all the mechanical stuff, but from searching the net, i'm getting slightly confused over the wiring. Will I be able to use the k reg xr3i wiring loom and ecu (ecu code 2FBC) with no problems? is there any issues with PATS on this ecu?

If no problems using the loom/ecu, how difficult is it to join the zetec engine loom to a mk4 xr3i efi loom?

Thanks for any help.
