my brothers car has a fault cant be pick up on a fault code reader . it runs fine for a while then it just stops and wont re start . then a liitle later it will start again and run fine then cut out. the glow plug light comes on when it has restarted sometimes. any ideas i think it could be cam sensor but not to sure

sounds like could be cam or crank sensor mate but if the glow plug light comes on it should store a code as thats the eml light, have you taken it to ford or is it just a mickey mouse diagnostic mate as it should have a code cheers

 

not a ford dealer but the glow plug light came on the first time then since then its done it a few times the light hasent come on but i thought both them sensors cheers
