Default Saph dash

Can anyone help. Working on my 2wd saph today and all was well until i was about to lock it up and notice the dash display wasnt working, no rev counter no ignition lights, no temp reading, no petrol tank reading nothing. The main light behind the dash was working though. Then i noticed the water starting to boil in the header tank because the fan never came on and water bubbled out all over the place, i only recently changed the thermostat as exactly the same thing was happining.
Can anybody help?

deco what have you done to your saph,i hope this aint the one you bought reciently?
the fan problems are either , fans, fan switch, wireing, melted relay,or melted fuse board under relay,

there could be a link with the dash stuff not working but would need to consult the wireing daigrams or see the fault with my own eyes.

If i loop the fan switch to see if the fan comes on that would eliminate the fan not working. I where is the fan relay Velo. I will check the fuse board tonight.

If the dash displays are not working, go to the fusebox and check the fuse with the diagram which looks like a brake pedal (if that makes any sense).

If fans are not working, check the 30A fuse behind the glovebox and if that is okay, check relays, switch and wiring.

Fuse number 22 10Amp, mines is ok... which means the problem is elsewhere!
Getting there though, i had alot of other problems when i bought the car so it's better than it was, and I've learned alot along the way.
