Converting to efi
ideally what i did with the gfs mk4 cabby and get hold of a mk4 escort efi loom then u dont have to worry bout cut and shut wires all over the place!! then obviously all the extra parts like the ecu, edis module, ISCV etc etc. Also if u wanted to use the same engine then they dont have a hole for the crank sensor in the block so from memory u have to change the pulley for one that has a pick up on it for the edis module/crank sensor to work. I know a mates RS turbo that was converted with an efi turbo engine just had a fiesta turbo loom bodged in the engine bay with live feeds to a few of the wires which althou a bit crude did actually work which meant the original car loom was left which u have to rip out to fit the efi escort look like i did which althou takes time is the better way IMO!
