I think you will havto change the multi plug on the TPS ,

get some sort of chip for the ecu as you will need to fuel 1.8 not 1.6 , injectors and rail will probably need changing aswell , ( u could use the EFI cvh inlet and injector rail with a conversion plate )

engine mount needs a slight tweek but goes straight on , alternator bracket will need to be changed for a 1.3 cvh ( well thats what i used ) RS1800 alt belt and pully wheel off the zetec alternator , ( goes straight onto the CVH one )

water pipes will need a fettle ,

Few other bits and bobs to get it all working .

But back to your first question , Wiring is pretty much standard .

engine mount need a small amount cut from the back to allow it to clear the 16 valve head .

as for just pluging it all in , well , as previously stated u will be needing to fuel 1.8 l

a ecu from a rs1800 may work or a fiesta 1.8 Xr2i ???????????????????? the looms look similar so this may be a better option for you , youll still need to do a couple of mods but the maps will be correct .

If your gonna use a 1.8 zetec use the Escort one , the mondeo uses a different inlet wich fouls on the Mk 4 bulk head , the sump is also different and the exhazust will be another thing to add to the to do list .

Water pump will need replacing as iut goes the wrong way and although u can get away with the oil pump , again the 1.8 escort is a better option as you can put a larger filter on .

Dont want to put you off hear bud as it isnt as bad as it sounds , but be prepared , i bet there are loads ofpeople out there who think its a question of " just plug everything in "

well its a little bit more than that .

TBH mate , id say turbo it , But thats what i do to all my cars

if you were askin Fast ford this question they'd say some shit about a filter , zorst and cam , Ł500 for 15 BHP , whoop de fookin do !!!!

Your limited mate , if u dont want to fork out on a nice S2 , and your happy with the car just bite the bit and get the engine swaped ,

it's not to hard ,

If u wann call me ( 07879 648 628 ) ill be able to explain a little better than typing shit on hear all night , as long as you have all the bits befor you start then its only a few days graft .

if you want to turn it into a 1600 cvh EFI turbo , itll be easier than the zetec rout ,

Low comp pistons , T3 turbo , intercooler , 2 pin changes on the ecu , frst ecu and a new rad , Jobs done .
