cosworth loom into rst
when fitting a cosworth loom into a s1 rsturbo to run cosworth management do the current ke-jet fuel relays become redundant??
the cosworth loom i have at present is off a 2wd saff and has 2 yellow relays both fused, i take it 1 is the loom supply relay and 1 is the fuel pump relay?? is that correct? which ones are for which job?
on the loom which would be inside the car is a black/white connector that has 5 wires.
the colours of the wires are as follows:-
red/blue.
black/red.
solid black.
solid green.
brown/white
I think the solid green is for the rev counter??
and the brown/white is the water temp sender??
anyone know what the other wires should be connected too??
ie 12v permanent, or 12v s/w live etc etc??
also when fitting a loom from a saff cosworth do any of the loom wires have to be extended/shortend to fit there sensors etc when dressed in the engine bay or is it a simply case of plug in and play??
any info would be much appreciated
cheers Paddy

ive got it all wrote down from when i done my 2ltr zvh frst, green-rev,brown&white-temp,black&red-fuel pump,black-ignition(+),blue&red-battery(perm 12v) & one of the relays is fuel pump, the other is ignition. i had to do quite a bit of cutting & extending wires, depends on where you position your sensors etc.
