Default Guide for replacing heater matrix on an Mk 5 Escort

Just wondering if there's a guide or tips on how to replace the heater matrix on a Mk 5 Escort?

Interested in a little van to runabout in over the winter, but it might be cold driving without a heater.

Thanks in advance.

If it is anything like the mk4 a pain to do as complete dash out, unless you are lucky and have small fingers to get in awkward places.

What are the other possible reasons for the heater not working?
