Default Kill Switch?

Ok been asked to wire in a master kill switch for my mate on his 2.0 nova, The car is a track/ striped out toy. Which is the correct way to wire it in, Switch the possative or the earth.
The switch is going to be mounted on the dash rather than scuttle pannel.

Cheers James

If you buy a proper master switch it comes with fitting instructions.

I woud check the regs first as sure they have to be on the outside of the car, you can have another inside if you want, but must have the outside one, dependning which class etc he is in.
You switch the positive anyway.
