Default Blue Focus RS, no drive

I havent looked at it myself, other than towing it when it broke down.

No drive. Car in gear..no shafts or CV joints turning....no drive at all to the driveshafts. But there is a whirring noise, so drive is getting somewhere, just not to the shafts at all.

Clutch pedal felt fine, and feels as if drive is going thru the box, all gears are there.

Box has been removed and opened ( I havent seen it yet ), and clutch is fine, all gears intact, selectors etc fine.

LSD has been stripped..and there doesnt appear to be any obvious signs of trouble, no debris in the box etc.
Are the diffs prone to problems ?

Any common problems with these cars ??

It has circa 350bhp, and it lost drive during a blast in 3rd gear. Owner says he wasnt thrashing it at the time.....but we know he was telling me porkies there

Isnt that right Mark lol
