Default Running (very) lean...

Right,i've got a problem concerning my car's injection.
First off i fitted the Pectal super 8 injection system, weber L8 ecu,sub loom etc.
The car is my Vw corrado 2.0L turbo 16v,7.8/1 CR,forged pistons,T3/4 turbo,.63 Mountune exh. housing etc, etc.
The main problem is that the engine runs lean and i talking
LEAN,17.0 on the wide band under load at 0.5 Bar boost.
I'm currantly still running-in the engine so i'm going easy on it.
Even with 8 injectors i can't get the bloody thing to fuel!,idle is
perfectwith a 14.5AFR read out on the PLX wide band and stays put,CO is fine,(8x365cc orange Bosch injectors almost identical to the injectors used on the original sierra)fuel press. is 3.8Bar under load and 3Bar idle with pipe disconnected, the engine starts first turn of the key cold or hot.
The engine idles like a swiss watch, fuel cut-off works so i assume the
full throttle switch works(Pf09,black) but does not show on the wide band and the switch reads 0.35 Volts at rest,4.8Volts at max. opening.
Fuel pump's been re-wired using a 40Amp relay,like the cossy modification.
Pump is a large Bosch CIS jobbie inside the tank, fuel press.is fine, even under load(press. raises with boost),EGT is around 700degrees flat out
at 0.5Bar turbo boost,no knocking,pinking etc.
The car won't go for shit,as if i'm driving into a huge headwind...So i
change back to the original Lancia ECU,4 injectors (the L8 is the same as a red lable Cosworth sierra cosworth 4x4)thinking i've got a duff mapped Pectal chip, what's the result?...STILL fukin lean, same effin read out on wide band,15,16 and finally 17AFR almost off the scale under load.
What the christ is telling the ecu to go lean?,MAP sensors?,i don't think
2 could go wrong,injectors?,all eight blocked?,no way.
Which leads me to think that the L8 ecu DOES have a kind of limp
home mode,DOES the L8 have a limp home mode?
Almost forgot,i added a test lamp onto the Lancia loom that lights up for 4 seconds and then goes out meaning that the bloody ecu isn't seeing any problems.
Sorry for the long post but i'm getting a bit fed up
Any hints or info appriciated.

Probably easiest just to get it mapped properly, as any experimentation by yourself could be far most costly if you melt a piston!

Sounds like you've put an ECU on a car without a suitable calibration?
