Default 3dr Cooling fans fuse melted ?????

my 3dr cooling fans fuse has melted , and i mean proper melted - right on to the acutally base of the box and destroyed the terminals - any ideas or has this happened in any of your 3drs or saphs - WAS a 30 AMP fuse

make up a new loom with a new power feed and separate relay

I had this and had a new fan loom made up' changed to escos fans and it keeps popping fuse's now

As said in other thread, just get yourself a spst relay, some wire etc, less than £5 to do the lot, about 30 mins.

yep,had it to,instead of rewireing it all,can u just change to lower power fans?

I wouldn't put any lower power/speed/airflow fans on as the cossie cooling system is marginal at best.
A newer design like curved blade may be a lot more effecient and cut down on current, but a lot of money when a rewire sorts it.
