Default trouble starting my rs festa

im having a little trouble with my mk3fiesta turbo,in the morning it will start fine no probs then if i drive it for even a few minutes and turn it off and then try restarting it, its as if the battery is flat,to start it i have to either jump it or bump it, i know its not the battery and im unsure whether its the alternator because i had a similar problem with a mini i had which ended up being the coil. any1 got any thoughts?

is the starter motor sticking due to no heatshield on it?

Try either giving it a bash with a lump hammer next time to free it off.

9 times out of 10 its because there is no heatshield as matt said, and the starter motor or the wires get too hot from the heat of the exhaust. Source a heatshield for it, if it hasnt got one, then wrap the thick wires in tin foil to deflect some heat from them. Also check and clean the earths to the engine & body.
