Default 1600i springs

hi there,is there any one who can advise me what action to take.i have just fitted a set of 17 inch rs diamond cut alloys to my rs 1600i which dont catch the front wheel arches but are very closeto catching.i do feel they may catch if i hit a large bump in the road.can i fit a set of uprated springs to solve this or is this going to be an expensive fix, thanks.
