Area six ones are a quality bit of kit, but if you want a cheaper option (and its the rubber bushes wearing out) just polybush your existing arms.

Escort Van bottom arms are also an upgrade. Must be genuine ford ones though.

Actually on that note are you using genuine arms? As they last a hell of a lot longer than pattern ones? I always used genuine on my Mk6 RS2000 and never had much bother with them.

Jonny boy.... I can get some ford ones cheaper than you will be able to but they are still mega money, they should last longer than a month even with your driving!

its not worth poly bushing the standard arms, they just rip straight out,
van arms are best but costly.
pattern parts are a waste of time, you can easily kill them in a month, genuine ford items all the way

Pattern wishbones are shit, get genuine ones at minmum. The van ones are even better and are alot stronger

My Si is lowered 40mm and I fitted some genuine arms 3 months ago and touch wood they are still ok at the min!! They dont half sit at a angle though with it being lowered, was thinking of polybushing it but is that not the best option? Also Ive got a diff whine, does the escort van box go straight onto the 1800 zetec engine?
