Check in this order

1) Correct Oil then,
2) Change Oil Presure Switch, if still no good,
3) Check oil pump pressure, if still no joy, then the engine is more than likely fubared!

If it isn't the switch, or the wrong/old oil then personally if it is running ok and only doing this at idle when hot I would just keep using it, otherwise it's a engine strip needed.
What is the idle speed, as if too low this will aggravate the light.

what oil are you using?

could be a number of things

when its at idle; is the engine noisy? does it sound healthy?

check what everyone else has mentioned, plus check the oil pick up pipe; i've seen these get blocked before and cause oil pressure problems

I will say, too late now tho, use the cossie switch as it will come on at a higher pressure meaning you will be less likley to cause damage to the engine if something were to happen!
