Default escos running on two cylinders

as above escos only running on 2 cylinders number 3&4 and stays like this with the phase sensor plugged in or out .does that ean that the phase sensor is at fault

No, sounds more like the head gasket has gone between 1 and two.

I think read somewhere that martin hadland had this trouble with his mondy when he got it going again, Something to do with the ecu if i remember.

Cant remember exactly though. maybe he could help
