i have tryed to do a forum search but it wont let me for some reason
i have a duratec v6 with loads of low end grunt but no top end power at all i have heard mentions of secondaries not opening but wanted some advice before i take it to bits if anyone can help would really apreciate it

if u rev the car with a mate looking under the TB(right hand side of the engine in the middle) u should see a rod/cable move if it moves its working if it dont it broke

the mrca or soemthing

it basicly controls the length of the inlet manifold to give you lots of torque low down and lots of power high up, i can't remember which mag it was in where they went through how to find out what was wrong and change it, i'm sure it's in a recent edition of fast ford

thanks for replies ive sussed it the cable on the actuator was snapped replaced for 8 quid and fifteen minutes of my time result! if only everything went that easy

cheapest horses ever goes like a rocket now.bonus is i got the car cheap as didnt go properly sorted for 8 quid well happy
