I realised I put this in the wrong fourm last night....
I've recently installed a Innovate LC1 wideband and it was showing my idle AFR to be somewhere in the 12.4:1 reigon. I've also been having some issues with fuel economy when doing about town driving. Today I discovered that when the engine is a low throttle, low load it runs rich but as the RPM's rise and load is increases it leans out until +ve boost comes on when it then goes rich for power. When I drove a long journey recently and drove at 60ish (which at the moment is showing up slightly lean if i keep in vacuum) and achived 36mpg, which is nearly twice that I'm getting about town (and no i dont boost everywhere).
I know that the idle co2 setting has to be 1.5% +/- 0.25, but does anyone know what AFR this corresponds too?
My car has been at AVA twice (to be set up and then because my fuel economy was somewhere in the high teens/low twentys) who offered very little advice and at the time said if anything it was lean at idle. It is possible my LC-1 isnt the most accurite system in the world, but I dont believe it can be that far out.
