im in need of a PAS tank for my 2wd cossie was wondering what sort of pressure the whole PAS system has as was thinking about using a different type of tank for it (like and small typre header tank from a different car)but want to make sure it can cope with the pressure.

The tank itself is not under pressure, it serves to fill the pump and as a return for the fluid that is pushed through the rack when operating, but the actual tank is vented to the air.

ah thats sweet thanks for the reply .i take it as there is no tank on it at the mo when i fit one i wont need to bleed it or anything?

There is a bleed sequence but I have never found it needed on a cossie, so should be ok.
