Testing HT leads!!
Is it possible to test a set of HT off the car?? If so how do i do it & what should i be looking for? The leads in question are Beru leads off of a Cossie!!

the actual core resistance is negligably nil. the resistor is in the boot itself (and these are balanced to each lead to ensure they are all the same). cant remmeber off the top of my head ) 5 kohm rings a bell. -but they should ALL measure the same as they are balanced leads. cheaper silicone would leads WILL vary in resistance w.r.t. length as the core IS the resistor.

Measured the resistance of My Beru leads & this was the result..
Lead No 1 = 5.83 Kohms
Lead No 2 = 5.57 Kohms
Lead No 3 = 5.77 Kohms
Lead No 4 = 5.83 Kohms
Looks like I've got a good set
