Only way I can think of is using a multimeter to check resistance of core is virtually zero and then a megger to check insualtion resistance is infinity.

is that true as they will all be varying resistances due to thier lengths been different?
thanks

the actual core resistance is negligably nil. the resistor is in the boot itself (and these are balanced to each lead to ensure they are all the same). cant remmeber off the top of my head ) 5 kohm rings a bell. -but they should ALL measure the same as they are balanced leads. cheaper silicone would leads WILL vary in resistance w.r.t. length as the core IS the resistor.

thanks

Cheers for the help Guys..
Measured the resistance of My Beru leads & this was the result..

Lead No 1 = 5.83 Kohms
Lead No 2 = 5.57 Kohms
Lead No 3 = 5.77 Kohms
Lead No 4 = 5.83 Kohms

Looks like I've got a good set
