I stripped my gearbox today to see what damage i have done on my S2 ERST.. 5th gear is completely mashed other than that its fine..

My question is where could i get another cog from?? Some people have said to put a diesel one on.. is this true...

Fords dont sell the cogs on there own... Only other way i guess is a second hand box..

 

are you sure everything else is ok?i did the same and a smashed 5th gear was only the start of it all!!!!theres a place called GEARS which advertise in the pf mag he is very helpful and sells stuff seperatly

 

i striped a knacked box down the other week (main shaft) the cogs are lying about at work if you put up a pic of the ones that are gone ill try and sort them out for you and post them, there gonna go in the bin other wise.

I have got a stripped ERST box in garage if you want standard ratio or might have a slightly different one either way if you want longer or shorter 5th ,

Let me know as I dont want it as staying standard ratios in my FRST

As you can see, i need them two cogs...
