Default AP paddle clutch

hey im thinking of getting an ap paddle clutch do i have to make any modifications to the peddle or anything else

not 100% true, with the full paddle kit i hear lots of things about the clutch ratchet quadrant thing breaking. apparently the way forward is to use a mk5 pedal with manual adjustment or you can get an alloy replacement to the pedal ratchet there was one on the bay a while ago but has now gone..... the other option i have heard is the 4 paddle driven plate with standard pressure plate, not too sure on this one though!!! let me know how you get on as my 200bhp series 1 is begining to slip slightly with the standard clutch!

Never had a problem with mine tho. Changed my 4paddle for a 6paddle. Soooo much nicer
