Can anyone help me please i have a 1.8td (97) escort van. Just reccently while driving home heater plug light came on, and noticed that i also lost the rev counter and now the rad fan is staying on with the IGN and also interior switchs illumination is coming on with the IGN also, and now when i try to start the van it just spins but when put power to heater plugs the van starts but runs sluggish and sounds louder than normal any help would be great.
So guys lets try get our thinking caps on

the indicator lights on my ford escort van sometimes stay on when the ignition is switched off.then the alarm goes off when the battery charge goes low,its annoying for the neighbours in the middle of the night.
