hi can anyone point me i correct direction?
my 03 1.6 zetec 1.6 se has just passed mot n no more due to high idle fault
when the revs are increased to 3000rpm it falls back to 1500/2000 rpm

I have changed lamba,throttle position valve still no change

next option i thought was coil pack or idle control valve but do not want to keep throwing money for no cure,
any suggestions appreciated

 

clean the idle control valve, should sort the problem.
