If it needs a "blue sensor" then put one in first.
I assume from this it is the CTS, coolant temperature sender for the ecu to which you are reffering ?, if this is out the CO will be all over the place, as this is the MAIN determining factor for CO, others just trim a bit, so put a sensor in, check plug gaps then take to get at least the CO set to around 2.5% CO, and see where you go from there.

With a dodgy sensor you could easily hit 10% CO with ease, so even after fitting, I would check all the usual suspects, fuel pressure(3 bar vac ON, 3.6/7 vac OFF), then turn screw to achieve desired CO, making sure it has a nice clean air filter as well.

okies i changed the sensor and it did help but on a test run she was still over fueling by a VERY long shot so i went to the fuel reg on the fuel rail and turned it back a 1/4 and took her for another run and that cured the splutterin and she now revs out in 1st 2nd and 3rd and not sure about 4th or 5th ran outta road lol and that was low boost at about 1bar. but when i put her to full boost about 1.5bar she revs till 6ish and then splutters again do you think this maybe be fueling again or spark plugs?

i didnt want to turn back fuel anymore as i dont have any way of testing if it is safe etc.

what do you think?
