escort si thermostat

hi im new here and just after some help, i have an escort si 1800 zetec and need to know where the thermostat is located and how to replace it.

pretty sure it is on the right hand side of engine in a black housing for the top hose. all from memory. so could be slightly off.

drain the coolant, undo the hoseclips holding the hoses on, unplug the sensors and undo the three bolts it'll come away from the head and you can prise the thermostat out and replace it.
