Modifying a 4x4 shell to 2wd
Other than the obvious like front cross member, axle etc is there any body mods ie drive tunnel etc that need modifying?! Most of the running gear wont be standard cossie anyway
Basically looking at a new project for later on in the year and i'm either gonna have a flint grey or black shell and dont wanna have to do a colour change on a cossie shell, but obvioulsy black RWD are rare so if i go black will prob have to be a 4x4 one!!

Testing the future
it's been covered on here before mate, do a search.
tunnel is different. 2wd t5 and crossmember will not bolt to tunnel. see pic below
bolt a length of 50mm box section to the front mount running backwards at a slight angle and then it's sorted.
apart from that, no probs.

Cheers, as said thou it aint a cossie box that'll be goin in, will be down the same route as some others on here, ie the jap influence Its already in a LHD cossie shell but wanna reshell it so its RHD and sounds easier to re-shell rather than fit a RHD bulkhead unless im gonna need 2 do alot of tunnel mods to get the box to fit
