I have a nasty Clunk coming from my nearside wheel when I accelerate/brake sometimes,it can be felt through the Passenger footwell as well, does this sound like a Balljoint to you? if so are they hard to change?

I had this on my old escort, turned out to be a lose bolt at the tpop of the suspension. I thought it was a bush for ages, then a mate tightened the bolt and .........

 

i had the same it turned out to be the wheel bearing jack your car up and see if you have any play in the wheel
