hi, ive just had the idea spring into my head to convert ny s2 turbo to efi, ive just bought a rotten fiesta turbo which is standard and in good running order, i would like to use my mfi block but ive read some threads on here and it needs to be drilled and allsorts! would i be better off just swapping the whole engine and loom over? my mate is an auto sparky so the loom is no problem.

 

Change the whole engine over.

 

As said whole engine is ur best bet, a mate had it on his, basically the whole engine was swapped, and to get it to work he just had a permanant live to one on the wire on the big multiplug on the loom and a temp live running off the ignition switch, off hand cant remember which one was which, and from memory the fuel pump was just run off the temp live to the ign switch aswell. Not the prettiest of wireing jobs but it worked!

 

it would be better to swap the hole engine over but if you wanted to use your mfi block you could use a bottom pully off a 1.8 cvh sierra make sure you get the sensor and bracket. then you dont have to drill any think
