broken actuator

Default broken actuator

how can i tell if my actuator is worn? i can pull the bar right out with 2 fingers. would this explain why my boost peaks at 18psi but falls right off to 8??

yeah had the smae trouble mate, get your self a nice new -31 orderd up give it about 3 mil pre load and you be sorted.

when u say a 3mm preload, does that mean leave it 3mm short of the wastegate flange b4 hooking it on??

sounds like the actuator to me. When fitting a new one screw the rod till its hole looks like a half moon over the wastegate pin then pull the rod over the pin, this usually sets it up fine. Would reccomend a good tune tho
