Question 2001 Focus Heater / Blower

Hi,After reading other Threads on the problem of the blower only working on No.4 I bought a new resistor. Still got the problem, I didn't get any new wiring with it but the old wires look fine - can you tell visually if they have blown? If this is not the problem where do I go next? & is it solvable by a novice, is it a garage job?Cheers

passenger side look up the foot well towards the centre collum, there is a square box plugged in you cannot miss it, change that , problem solved.

Just do a continuity check on the resistor will tell you if any good, yes you can see the broken wires on the resistor if broken.
As you are getting power at the switch, you need to follow this along to resiustor etc and see where the problem is, no 4 full speed merely buypasses the heater resistor.
