Default Heater blower fans ? Electrical problem

Cosworth blower fans have stopped working, Switch is OK power to blower motor is OK so I have removed the blower motor and fans and cleaned the motor with electrical cleaner spray to remove all the fluff and crap which got them working but when on the high setting it cuts out after a while,
I have traced the fault to the little circuit breaker thingy. (technical term)

what I need to know is if I bypass this the fans work OK! the motor doesn't seem to feel hot enough for the circuit breaker to cut in, or could it be a fault in the wiring to the motor causing the breaker to trip.

Don't really want to buy a complete new blower Assembly.
