Well the saff has been sitting for the last 4 months, finally got it out of the garage at the weekend, but every now and again the horn would just go off by itself just a short little blast, only seemed to happen when turning the steering wheel.

Any ideas on what the problem is, earth related????

 

2 wires must b touching in the steering wheel mate

 

Pop the horn push out with a small screwdriver and refit it - that might be all it needs. While it's out, check that the earth wire's not able to short itself anywhere it shouldn't.

 

had same prob for mot ,intermitent i thought it was the push too n it was the earth on the horn on one side and other had packed up completely ,
took it off cleaned with a wire brushed , bit of copper grease , new bolt n it works fine now .
just unplugged the wire on the none working one and left off .
