Hi Guys ,
I've got a fiesta 1.25 zetec and on revving the engine at low revs , it struggles a bit and there's a sucking noise from by the front of the engine/manifold area
Any one got any ideas ?

Gasket or manifold ???????
is it common for the manifolds to crack ?? it looks from as far as i can see to be in quite good nick

would have thought it would be gasket...

how noisey is it?

are your revs high on idle... and is it coughing...

Revs seam ok on idle , its just when you pull away or blip the throttle you get the sucking noise and it splutters , as you go up the revs its fine , its just at the bottom end, the sucking noise is noticable with the bonnet down from outside the car

hmm... I'd get your head in there and have a good listern to see if you can ID where its coming from... would have though gasket manifold interface...
