zetec conversion problem....

zetec conversion problem....
right, quick query....
Me and my mate have done zetec conversions to our cabs, both are all in, both are wired up and both are firing up running and dying. Basically the pump is priming, engine is firing up with the fuel in the rails and then dying. I think i know the problem, i just want conformation of what i thinks wrong and a remedy.
The white/brown wire the earth fueling wire isnt connected, i was told to connect this to the earth point on the yellow (efi) fuel relay. I did this and still no good. What is the best way to connect the loom to the fuel relay so that the ecu can get a signal to the pump to keep firing??
Also how have other people overcome this??

hi i have recently converted my 1.6 cvh engine mk4 orion to a 1.8 fiesta zetec engine using the fiesta ecu and loom wired into my own loom car starts fine but as soon as the engine warms up and you try to drive it it starts splutering and losses power to the point where it hardly moves when you press the accelerator to the point where it tries to cut out help me please
