new escos tappets, need running in???

Wink new escos tappets, need running in???

hi,about to put some new hydrilic tappets in the the escos, as the old ones are a little tappy on start up, so just wondering will they need running in with the old cam or is there no need.. thanks in advance..

NO running in needed, although it can take a good few miles to fully quieten down, as much as 10/15 miles sometimes, although 95% of the noise will be gone within a minute or two.
