Engine cutting out
You may remember that I posted a problem where the engine of my 4x4 sapp cossie was cutting out; not misfiring but completely cutting out. Well, I resolved the problem at the weekend and it was so simple.
There is a little pipe running from the inlet manifold to the map sensor which is bolted onto (facing down) the inner wing. The 90 degree rubber bend was almost off the sensor. I pushed it completely home and now ...JOY

You are so right. I had already fitted new plugs, leads and a fuel filter to try to cure the problem. But hey it's great to have it firing full steam now when I floor it!!
