Escort Cosworth Throttle Position Sensor
Does anyone know how to test one of the ( not the red type ). Relative resistances or voltages to pins and throttle position would be great.
Many thanks.

with it on the car, or in your hand, the PF09 type - ignore the colour as there are red and black versions of the same model, PF01 = 2wd , PF09 = 4x4.
if its connected to the car and plugged into the loom with the ignition on, check back at the ecu with the cover off the multiplug at pins 11 and 17. at idel you should get between 0.25 VDC and 0.3 VDC - this incidently is where the sensor is exactly half way along its sloted ajustment holes. the voltage should increase to just under 5 vdc when the throttle is wide open.
