Hi guys, will a black top head fit onto a silver top block or are there differences? Ive got a spare black top head and was going to do some head work on it then fit it to my silver top engine. Both are 1.8's by the way.

I think the biggest problems will come from where and how to route the cam belt and fit the tensioner.

 

You need to fabricate a new cambelt tenssioner but tthe head will fit.
