cut along story short i picked my mates sapph cossie up as he had some work done to it and i had the day off..

whenever you go over bumps every so soten thers a knocking,metal on metal noise coming fron the front which you can feel on through the floor..and if its taking a gradual bend say at 50mph there is a really bad vibration throogh the steering as if the wheel is wobbling

any ideas people?

was thinking it may be a ball joint but there is no un-even wear on the tyres.
