hi there iv converted my xr toa rs now and all is well but 1 thing can ne 1 help the car runs and idles fine but it dont like 2 start on the key if i leave the fuel pump on and press the float down on the metering head it then starts ne ideas thanks

 

Air leaks most likely, have a good check for leaks between the air metering stuff and the inlet.

i hav i may hav missed sum fink but im sure thats not it
i hav also found out it runs wiv the oil filer cap off i no thats not ment to happen ha

 

metering units have been known to 2 stop working when they have been sat around.mine did it.replaced the unit and all was well.if u need 1 let me know.rick
