Anyone got any ideas?
Just done escort turbo conversion in my fiesta as the engine fell into my hands, it was all running sweet then water got in the air filter causing a hydraulic lock, Blowing a hole in my sump. new fresley built lump in now turns over but is popping and spluttering, a local garage have advised me it is overfuelling and would probably be the metering unit as water getting in that wuld knacker it?! Anyways have fitted it a new one (Allegedly from a running rs turbo) and its still the same any ideas??,
Fuel pump seems fine,
Got a good spark,
Distributor is ok,
Anyones help would be appreciated as next stop is interpro GULP!
