alarm / remote central locking key fob programming

If you have the handbook the programming sequence is in there.I can't for the life of me remember the exact sequence now 
Something like,
Turn key to accessory position wait until the immobiliser red light starts to flash, remove key.Point the remote fob key at the sensor by the interior light, press the double triangle button 3 times.if accepted the immob light will flash quickly.
If this doesn't work, repeat this but try pressing the single triangle instead of the double.Al.
