Default advise on flame throwing cossie

went to msd just after xmas got report on my cossie while they were doing the dissy rotor & leads plugs etc , said i need to get belts etc done ,re-wire pump and fit new filter due to low voltage at pump and running lean , was told not to take it above 5500rpm which i didn't and not to use the stage one boost switch as it was running lean right through which i didnt .
belts done , re-wire done , new filter and put a injector cleaner through and now running on super all the time as they said
i,ve been told that when i give it a bit , between changes i throw flames out , have i cured my fuelling problem hence the flames or are they caused by other things , car is running sweet at the moment too.
sorry if this sounds like a daft question .

cheers
gaz

Flames are not uncommon, more so when running rich.
You can have it mapped to make flames, but it will be awfully rich, not good, not correct.
