Hello everybody, recently I have purchased in Ebay a Omex 100 ignition Ecu, complete with wiring harness, but I don`t have the communication cable for the PC.
Is that cable special for Omex? or I can use a standar serial Port Cable for communication with the ecu?

 

Will possibly be a RS232 cable, so fairly standard, but I am by no means 100% sure.

yes it is rs232 bu you must make Sue you get the right one, pin 2 must go to pin 2 ant each end of the cable as far as i can remember contact omex for clarification

 

Then if I buy a rs232 cable from computer store, can do the trick? or the pins are different?
