Default wat else(enigine swap)

hi i asked a while bk if a 1.6 cvh wud go into a 1.1 mk2 fez without must hassle ive now bought the engine and am waiting to fit it, but the engine was cut out of the old car so i only have half of the driveshafts left and i am unsure wether i can use the existing ones (1.1) because i
1. dnt no if they'll fit
n
2. if they do fit dnt no if they'll be up to the challenge

if nt then wud i have to buy xr2 1s and if i did wud they fit into the existing hubs?

also does ne one no how i can upgrade the brakes cheaply? can i fit sum off another ford for instance, or wud it be a case of buying better aftermarket brakes?

any advise wud be much appreciated as this is the first time ive tryed an engine swap and its on my first car so i dnt want to make a right mess of things if i can help it!!

Thanks
